Rahat Welfare Trust, founded in 2014 by Mufti Shamsuddin Peerzada, is a Karachi-based NGO.
Our mission is to uplift underprivileged communities through education, healthcare, and social support. With compassion as our guiding principle, we empower individuals, fostering dignity and self-respect.
From humble beginnings serving 500 families, we’ve expanded to address broader community needs, driven by compassion and a commitment to fostering dignity and self-respect for all.
Our Approach
We Facilitate Safe Learning Spaces
At Rahat Welfare Trust, we are deeply committed to creating safe learning spaces for all. Through a multi-faceted approach, we prioritize the construction and maintenance of secure educational facilities, adhering to stringent safety standards.
Rigorous child protection policies are implemented, ensuring staff screening and prompt response to concerns. We actively promote inclusivity, combating bullying and discrimination through awareness campaigns and supportive interventions. Additionally, we provide essential psychosocial support services, fostering emotional well-being among students facing trauma or distress.
